• Setup Date: July 31 at 9:00 AM• Meat Inspection: All competition meats will be inspected as teams arrive• All meat must be raw and unseasoned (no injecting, marinating, or pre-cooking)• Once the competition meat is inspected, it cannot leave the contest site• Meat awaiting cooking must remain properly covered and refrigerated at 40°F or below• Any meat not meeting these requirements will result in disqualification• Limited power will be supplied to each site• Private Team Party: 9:00 PM at the IBEW Hall (DJ, food, drinks, and a cash bar)• Each team member may bring one guest

• Date: August 1 • Location: 5850 Elizabeth Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110 • Food Trucks & Cash Bar available to the public • All competition meat is for judges only (no selling)

• Team Entry: $250

There will be a first place grand prize winner through a 5th place winner. There will also be 10 winners in each of the 4 meat categories. The purse will be contingent on the total number of teams that have registered for this competition. That purse amount will be formally announced by July 25th, 2026.

• Chicken (whole, halves, or parts) • Ribs (bone-in only) • Pork (Boston butt, picnic, or shoulder) • Beef Brisket (flat or point, no corned beef) Make sure your team plans to compete in all four categories to qualify for Grand Champion.

• Chicken: 12:00 PM • Ribs: 12:30 PM • Pork: 1:00 PM • Brisket: 1:30 PM Strict 5-minute window before and after each turn-in time. Late entries will be disqualified.

• Judged on Appearance, Taste, and Tenderness • 6 portions required per judge • Placement points system: 1st = 500 pts, 25th+ = 25 pts • Highest total points across all categories = Grand Champion

• Keep your site clean, safe, and organized • Fire extinguisher required; maintain 5-ft clearance around grills • No electric cooking, lighter fluid, or shared grills • Shirts and shoes required • Tobacco prohibited while handling meat • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – sunrise
