This competition was born out of a passion for great food and even better company. Ryan was a man of character, a dedicated IBEW Local one electrician and even better friend.
On August 1st, 2026, we gather not just to crown a champion pitmaster, but to celebrate Ryan’s life and legacy. Every spark from the smoker and every dollar raised goes directly toward programs like Coats for kids, Safe Harbor and The IBEW Local one relief fund.
